What your friend will see
The recipient gets a service message about the Telegram Premium gift and Premium switches on in their account. No action is required — no codes to enter, no links to open.
Open the friend’s profile and look at “Username”. If they don’t have one, ask them to create it in Settings — a gift can’t be delivered without it.

Common mistakes when gifting Premium
- Wrong @username. Copy it from the friend’s profile instead of typing it from memory — a delivered gift can’t be moved to another account.
- Display name instead of username. “Anna 🌸” is a name; the username starts with “@” and contains only Latin letters, digits and underscores.
- Sharing codes. Never ask your friend for a login code “to activate the gift” — gifts activate automatically.

Can I gift Telegram Premium without knowing the phone number?
Yes. Only the @username is needed — no phone number, no password, no codes.

Yes. Before payment the bot explains how the gifted period will be applied to their active Premium.
Will my friend be charged after the gift ends?
No. A gift is a fixed period without auto-renewal. When it ends, Premium simply switches off.
Can I schedule the gift for a specific date?
Place the order on the day you want the gift to arrive — delivery usually takes minutes.
Will my friend know the gift is from me?
When you gift Premium in the app, your friend sees your name. When you order in our bot, tell your friend about the surprise yourself — for example, with a message right after delivery.
